The way his eyes followed her as she moved around the kitchen warmed her. Spices scented the air, adding something exotic to the heated atmosphere. She was trying hard to finish dinner, dodging his hands. His look said if he snagged her they’d end up making love on the table, leaving her poor roast to burn.
His groan as she bent to look in the oven made her chuckle to herself. Some naughty part of her couldn’t help wiggling just to tease him…
“Minx.” He snagged her around the waist, spinning her and lifting her up on the counter. One sweep of his hand sent things flying.
“Richard!” She shrieked as their half filled plates fell to the floor, splashing food all over their clothes. “Our dinner…”
The dart of his tongue at the morsel on her exposed chest turned her words into a throaty moan. Hands revealed more skin, baring her breasts to his touch. He sucked at the pounding pulse point, stepping between her thighs and allowing her to feel the press of his arousal. She grasped at him, pulling him closer to her core.
“Later, Love. I have something else I’d like to taste.”

Harriet Van Horne is reported to once have said, “Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all.” but I came across an even better quote. This one comes from Robert Byrne: “Anybody who believes that the way to a man`s heart is through his stomach flunked anatomy.” You clearly showed that the latter is true…

Lol. Experience shows me which quote is true.
Aahh!!! Don’t stop! That was fun. Does he rump her roast?
Author
Rump her roast. AHAHAHAHAHA. I imagine he did.
I’m trying to comment on “Write what you Want” – Yes! Now that’s writing!
Author
I had a moment of uncertainty so I turned comments off. It felt really raw if that makes any sense.
I wanted to comment, too. Don’t be uncertain…it was really good! I just have one question…how did you get in my room to see all that? 😉 Even the last part with him getting the washcloth and cleaning her off! Seriously!
Author
Lol. I’m glad you liked it. It excites me to know I can write something someone else can relate to. Please know I’m supremely jealous of you though. This particular act is becoming a top fantasy to fulfill for me.
I would have never known it hadn’t been fulfill by the way you wrote it. I can’t wait to read about it once you get that fantasy checked.

I want to write well enough at all times that people can feel the story and never know I haven’t experienced something I’m writing about. This is one I know a little about, but not to this degree. Soon I hope.
Re: Write What You Want –
Oh, wow. His hand soothing her back… *sigh* That was really something. Well done.
Author
Thanks. Perhaps I should’ve left comments open with the positive responses I’ve gotten. Lol
I understand what it’s like to be afraid of responses – that vulnerability is scary! But you’re a good writer, and I admire you for clicking publish despite your fears. 🙂
Author
I’ve been less tentative in recent moments, but the story left me feeling a little vulnerable. Baby steps. 🙂
Stupid vulnerability. 😉
Author
Ahahaha. No truer words.
Author
Ahahaha. Yup.
Kitchen’s can definitely be handy for cooking up more than just food…lol… 🙂
Author
Ahahaha. They can!
Mmmmm love the ending…
Speaking of “ends” I love your “Write What You Want” such a yummy story and left me craving for it.
