This Isn’t The Week

I started a Song Of The Week post, but didn’t finish it for a variety of reasons. My intention is to put up something for Andy’s prompt tomorrow, but I already know the odds aren’t in my favor with my schedule. My creativity and muse may end up on vacation.

You want to know my biggest worry? That I’m due a “low”. I’ve been pretty even emotionally since winter decided to finally give up the ghost, so I’ve not had a dark day in almost a month. Starting a new job always gives me the jitters and I’ve been up since my move. Throw in a slew of hormones and I’m a recipe for an emotional free fall. I’m hoping optimism keeps me up.

As for my meeting? Maybe the stars will align and we’ll connect this week. I certainly hope so.

All this to say I’m not sure when I’ll have another story up this week. Forget me not.
