A poem for Easter. Words from The Sunday Whirl.
—
Life to me
Dimly see
Lost I be
Have been to me
Lock, stock
Rusty key
A pit to stand
Drowned I am
A rescuing hand!
Please
An offering man?
Lamb, silent lamb
And then He
And then I am
After Him
A petal bend
Soft and new
Different stand
Again I am
Risen
Saved
Empty grave
Alive
Alive

Thank you. Happy Easter.
The words may be from Sunday Whirl, but the arrangement sounds like a voyage of personal discovery?
Very nicely done, no matter where it took you.

It is. A continued voyage. I’m constantly trying to figure myself out.

Thank you. Years of crappy poetry is finally starting to reap fruit. 🙂

You laugh only because you’ve not had to read the bad stuff. You’re welcome. Hehe

Thanks! <3
I love this! Sorry for all the back-to-back comments. I put your blog notification e-mails in a folder, and forgot that I did that. So today I’m like “hmm, haven’t seen anything from C in a while” THEN I remembered the folder lol
