This is my first time at Eroticon! Here’s your opportunity to get to know me a little bit and then head over to the site and find out about other people. So let’s meet and greet me before you actually meet me.
NAME (and Twitter if you have one)
Cara Thereon and you can find me on Twitter at @thereon_cara
What are you most looking forward to about Eroticon 2018?
When I first realized I was going to attend Eroticon, the thing I was most excited about was meeting people I’ve followed. There’s people I’ve known for a long time, like Kayla Lord and Hyacinth, that I’m hoping I don’t turn into a complete fan girl when I do meet them. There are others though I want to meet. The list is too long to put here, but know I admire their writing and their input. I’ll probably squee when I see a few of them.
We are creating a play list of songs for the Friday Night Meet and Greet. Nominate one song that you would like us to add to the play list and tell us why you picked that song.
You Don’t Have to Believe Me by Eric Hutchinson.
It makes me think of DomSigns constantly reminding me that I’m worthy. I’d never really believed it until I met him.
What’s the first career you dreamed of having as a kid?
Honestly, I have no idea what I wanted to do as a child. I have the worst memory for early childhood things (and in general). I do know, for the longest time, I debated art and medicine. My mother remarked constantly that my father wanted me to be the dentist he never managed to be. I drew a ton and took a lot of art classes in high school and college. My mother’s house is still full of art projects – framed drawings, huge cross stitch pieces, other random art work.
When it came down to picking my path, I went the safe route. Was I good enough to make it as an artist? Nope. Did I want to be a starving artist? Definitely not. Medicine it is.
Weirdest place you’ve ever gotten up to mischief (define ‘mischief’ however you like…)
I’m a good girl. I didn’t get up to anything fun until I was in my late 20s. Blame my conservative upbringing or the fact that I felt I needed to be a good girl, but I never did much.
Forking and toilet papering a friend’s yard for their birthday is about as mischievous as it gets.
Maybe I can get help being naughty?
Tell us two truths and a lie about yourself
I’ve gotten stuck in a tree
I’ve never been to a strip club
I enjoy not being allowed to come
Complete the sentence: I want…
a brand/tattoo on my bottom
See you there!
