I’m here. You know, in case you were wondering.
There’s a follow up to Seat 19C wasting away in my draft box. If I can find some time (and 8-10 hours of decent sleep), maybe it’ll see light by the end of the week.
My time in California is coming to an end (until I decide to winter here next year, of course). It’s been awesome in some ways and not so great in others. Hindsight is 20/20 so I’m sure I’ll look back on the terrible parts and see how they’ve prepared me for whatever comes next. My confidence, pride, and self-esteem have been in tatters lately, but I’ve had some moments that have kept me from quitting.
One of my favorite parts? I was successful in meeting a long time fellow blogger while I’ve been out here. I respect and admire this person so it was awesome to meet them. Having done so, I’d like to believe I could call them a true friend now. It’s funny how you can follow someone for years, finally meet them, and like them as much as you thought you would. I just have one more long time blogger to meet and I’m hoping to accomplish that soon enough. It’ll complete at least one task on my 30B30 list. That damn list won’t ever be complete at this rate…
Life has been pretty quiet for me lately and I find I like that. Visiting places I’ve only seen on TV has been cool. As for my writing, not much to say there either. Maybe I’ll get serious and try publishing, maybe I won’t. I’m no less of a writer.
I’ll just let that motivate me!

I LOVED San Diego. Want to work there next year. Back to Mass, but not Boston. Hopefully I get back there.
